Who We Are
My name is Helen and I have been running Lincs Training – Dog Training Made Easy for over 12 years since attaining my first qualification from the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. I subsequently successfully completed Grade 2 exam to be a Fully Qualified Dog Trainer and now am a Member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. I am also a Master Trainer in The Guild of Dog Trainers.
In 2016 Lincs Training – Dog Training Made Easy came third out of approx. 1800 clubs nationally in the Kennel Club Listed Status Club category.
In 2017 we came runners up in the South Holland Business Awards – Customer Care category.
In 2020, I came runner-up in the Most Dedicated Person Award nationally run by the Kennel Club.
We run the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Awards and to date we have had over 300 Dogs and Handlers successfully complete their Puppy Foundation Award, over 150 who have passed their Bronze Award, 80 who have passed their Silver Award and 24 who have passed their Gold Award.

Deciding how to set up dog training was my next challenge! Over the years I had attended many different dog training classes and after my training course realised where there was a gap in the market. I noticed how classes didn’t seem to give owners the time to work with their dog; to the best advantage to both i.e. not giving them or the dog time to take fully on board what is required of them. Nor does it give the instructor the amount of input some difficult dogs need. This led me to one to one training with the occasional sessions to socialise puppies and dogs which I have been working with.
Our philosophy
At Lincs Training – Dog Training Made Easy we make training a joy not a chore. We aim to build up the bond between you and your dog.
Training is not our job, its our passion and vocation.

Lincs Training – Dog Training Made Easy are always striving to improve their own training techniques and are always attending new training courses and updating ourselves, this in turn brings the best training opportunities to you and your dog.
We care about you and the journey you and your family are undertaking with your dog. We are a Community Dog Training Club and we not only train you and your dogs but also run and organise additional social activities such as regular lead walks, an annual Vets evening and an annual Dog Show as well as the occasional Table Top sale, Barbeque and Quiz Evening. Proceeds from these events go to our Charity / Good Cause of the Year. Over the last few years we have raised £1,800 for the AHT, over £3,000 for Medical Detection Dogs and last year over £2,500 with which we bought 30 Poo Bag Dispensers for the Local Area.
We also hold an annual Christmas Party for our Clients, which is very popular and in the final classes before our Christmas break we hold a Christmas Doggy Party with fun and games for the dogs and their owners.
We always have a number of Assistants on hand to help or “shadow” you in class if you are struggling or are concerned. All our Assistants (as well as a couple of our Trainers) have come up “through the ranks”, having started by bringing their own dogs for training, before volunteering their time and help to assist you in the “ups and downs” of your training journey, having been there and experienced these themselves.
